Thank you for spending 8 March with us and the Great Auntie (Ramona Cutina)
Nicknamed "Free Europe" by some mischievous people, Auntie Mari likes to read letters thrown away by neighbors in the trash, and even this unusual hobby has pushed her to beat the fairs and flea markets in search of letters. Her secret passion brought to the fore the life of communism, the authentic stories, the intimate thoughts of the people who lived then.
In 2025, on the 8th of March, in Luxembourg, we remembered together with Ramona Cutina and Velentin Partenie, the actress and director of the play, how they lived then, what the sneakers were, what the Necherman was, what a roommate was, how the young people lived in forgotten corners of the world and what feelings they had for the parents who remained at home, the intrigues, the gossip, the lack of freedom, the feeling that you are constantly watched and listened to. Have you ever knocked on the pipe? Have you ever said ‘the power is out’?
I chose only a few frames from the play Nechezol at the bare ass to thank you for being with us. The energy and enthusiasm of the audience made the evening unforgettable.
